​Laurie Carvill, principal of Carvill Consulting, is a graduate of Cornell University where she earned both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.  She has in-house facilities, safety, and manufacturing experience from industry giants such as Hewlett-Packard's semiconductor division and Agilent Technologies' Bioscience Group, and start-ups, including Fluidigm Corporation.  Since founding Carvill Consulting in 2003, Laurie has managed millions of dollars in construction projects as an owner’s rep and has supported dozens of companies in developing and maintaining their EH&S programs.
